We arrived mid afternoon and the girls immediately wanted to get in the little pool. They have really enjoyed swimming on this trip. One of the first things the girls said to BB is "When are you going to spoil us?" You think they have her figured out?
We planned on staying with BB for almost a week. One of the first things we did was go to the Natural History Museum in the Woodlands. Here are some pictures of that day of fun!
One big dinosaur--the funny thing was most of these dinosaurs were dug up in Montana. So, we came all the way to Texas to see Montana dinosaurs!
The museum has a lot of really neat exhibits. The girls really enjoyed the insect zoo where they got to see all sorts of frogs, grasshoppers, spiders, cockroaches, and other creepy crawlers. Being that the museum was attached to the Woodlands Mall, we couldn't leave without visiting the Build-a-Bear Workshop. The girls each made a bear and then made one together to give to Anna Beth. That is really a fun place, but it can get expensive fast.
It was a fun-filled day with Grandma BB and Aunt Abbie. One thing about Texas in July is you either enjoy fun indoors in air-conditioning or outside in a pool. The girls will go outside for a while, but they don't stay out too long because of the heat. Even they notice it. They are use to spending most of their days playing and exploring outside at home, so was is a little difficult for them, but it makes them appreciate home.
